Do us a big favor and review us on iTunes and tell your friends about us and be nice to your mom and tell your friends about us again.
We continue the ridiculous conceit of “Season Two.”

We had our good friend Josh Hopkins on the show this week. This episode is released in two parts. Part one is the main podcast that will show up on the feed that’s just like a normal interview episode; part two is downloadable from here and consists almost entirely of Josh filling us in on how his daughter Lucy Kate is doing after her open-heart surgery last month.

We have REALLY been slacking off on the episodes lately. Maybe we should just call this the end of Season One of the podcast and start Season Two after the summer when all our shit settles down. At any rate, hope you like this new episode, which is just me and Erica again.

I just sold the last of the fifty Robot Vs. Octopus tshirts we had printed a couple of months ago. Thanks to everyone who bought one! Complete success.
Depending on interest, we might print another one in a few months or so, but if we do it will be a different design. (It probably won’t have a ferret on it, though, if you were hoping for one. Sorry!)
For Erica’s birthday, which is August 5th, we are running a contest. We mentioned it near the end of Episode 21.
It is no secret that Erica loves “Weird Al” Yankovic. Her love for Mr. Yankovic exceeds perhaps even that of oxygen, or the breathing of oxygen, or the magic process inside our bodies that turns oxygen into blood or however it works.
The contest rules are as follows:
If you win, Erica will send you her prized “Weird Al” Yankovic-signed kazoo. Good luck!
If you are “Weird Al” and you found out about this somehow and you want more information about Erica, you can email me (Ben Compton) at bcompton on gmail.com. Thanks.
(If there is no winner by midnight, August 6th, Erica will perform and record a sad minuet on her kazoo for the podcast.)
